Miracle Delivers World’s Best Tacos
Yesterday, my wife Lin and I drove down to Espanola to shop at Lowes. We had planned to have lunch at a little take-out joint that serves up the world’s best tacos.
We recently had about a foot of snow and very cold temperatures, with the day high temperature well below freezing. After the shopping, we debated rather or not to drive all the way into town to have tacos for lunch or simply call it good and drive home.
The drive into to town was perhaps 15 minutes with the traffic. In the end, we talked ourselves out of lunch and headed home for Taos. Heading back, we passed a billboard advertising $1.74 gas and three stations coming up to chose from. It reminded me that the car was low on gas. I passed the first one, saying to Lin, “Let’s stop at the station by the casino and fill up the tank.”
As we pulled into the station, Lin said, “Look! There’s an El Paraguas taco stand inside the convenience store.”
“No way!” I said. “Do you think the tacos can be as good as the one in Espanola?” Lin said, “We are about to find out. Gas the car. I be back with the tacos.”
A few minutes later we were enjoying the world’s best tacos. That’s Playing 4 Keeps!
Lesson: When living a spiritual life, that expects right time, right place, and right action. It is possible to have anything that you want. You just never know where or when it may show up. Subscribing to a belief, that your intention is guided for your highest good, is not complicated. You just live each day expecting miracles and accept them in any form delivered.
