Stuart Wilde Books
Hello Michael, I just purchased your Do’s and Don’ts playbook and I really enjoyed it. I have a question for you. I just bought four of Stuart Wilde’s books on Amazon and I would like you to suggest what order I should read them. I’m new to the metaphysical realm. The four books are. The Sixth Sense, The Force, Infinite Self, and Affirmations. Thank you, J.Mac
Hi J.Mac, thanks for the feedback. I appreciate knowing your impression of the playbook.
Reading order: The Force, Affirmations, Infinite Self, Sixth Sense. You will eventually want to add The Quickening to this list. The metaphysical concepts in the book were foundation to Stuart’s successful casino play that eventually led to his Easy Money – Mongolian Blackjack workshop held in Tahoe, Nevada.
Note: Page 96 Infinite Self, Stuart describes a meditation process “Larger than Life”. I wrote as self-guided casino mediation based on the principal. Look for “Power Word”, in the menu box below the text. https://playing4keeps.com/meditation.htm
Also, Chapter 11 Reading People So You Can Help Them. Developing perception, being able to touch into the feeling of a person and know what you need to know. I have the concepts in the playbook, as “tell me everything I need to know about this situation”. In the Sixth Sense, this practice is not addressed for use in a casino game. I provide the concepts for casino play and they are emphasized in my playbook. Look for the pages where I address “pick your playmates”, “who’s the shooter”, and “getting a read on the energy of a game”. This is also a theme I have written about in many of my newsletters and now my blogs.
J.Mac, let me assure you that getting the hang of this metaphysical practice is not so complicated. Just remember you are on a new path, that’s all. It is not so much about figuring it out as it is allowing yourself to align to those things which resonates with you.
It is developing your intuition to recognize times when you are aligned to information that resonates within. That is to say, feels right for you. It is a learning experience and you need to practice it. It is also important that you recognize you always have choice. You make your choice based on perception and past experiences when you get that “feeling” of this is “true for me”. Then you take action. In the game, if you are correctly guided, lock in the feeling. If it ends up as a no, take notice or what a misstep felt like. Eventually, you will tune your perception and be able to recognize false positives. Think of it like a physical exercise regimen. You start off stretching daily. Muscles are tight and it is hard to do the stretches. You may feel discourage and want to quit, but you don’t. As you stay with the discipline, muscle began to elongate, strengthen, and you experience a greater range of motion as you develop stronger muscles. By sticking to the routine you have a change in lifestyle. The same principle holds for applied metaphysics. It becomes a life style. Your life style.
As you read the Stuart Wilde books, you will recognize concepts repeated, reinforced in new examples. You have selected a powerful group of Stuart’s work. I encourage you to read the books more than once.
The “Infinite Self” was originally an eight cassette tape series, recorded during a two day seminar back in the late 80’s. It was the precursor for the Warrior’s Wisdom seven day program and that led to Stuart’s Warrior’s in the Mist, eight day program. Both of these events were held in the mountains of Taos, New Mexico. (1988-1996)
Stuart wrote his books in a straight forward approach. Short and to the point. “The Force” was Stuart’s second book and less than 100 pages. By the time you finish the 6th Sense, you will be saying, “Easy peasey, lemon squeezy.” A little saying Stuart used to say a lot. An affirmation confirming life is easy, and things fall into play. Again, we can influence our reality with what we believe, say and do. If you say “you can’t”, Universal Law is last to disagree with you. If you say “you will”, Universal Law is in the front row waving pompoms and cheering you on to your goal. Your word is your bound.
You can practice the metaphysical concepts anywhere and anytime. It is not a casino skill like learning how to count cards. It requires a paradigm shift with your outlook on life. It requires you to step up and acknowledge your inner power and then put it to use. Stuart’s life lessons are all about self-empowerment and spiritual freedom.
As it turned out for me, I recognized my way of teaching metaphysics came through casino experiences. The emotions are just plain and raw, hanging out like an untucked shirt. Airports, malls, movie theater lobbies, are also good places to practice perception.
Let me know if you have more questions.
All the best, Michael
Thank you Michael for the prompt reply. I need all the help I can get. I’ve been playing craps for five years and I think it is the best game in town. I live in So. Cal., which makes for a quick flight to Las Vegas. (45min) I go 4 to 5 times a year and stay at the Main Street Station. I use to stay on the strip but since staying downtown, I believe I get more bang for my buck. Also, no resort fees and less walking between casinos. I also started keeping a journal so I keep track of how I do.
Thanks again Michael,
J.Mac
